Mark was honored for his thirty-two years of ministry in Southern Gospel Music on July 28, 2007 during the 2nd annual homecoming event at Hill Crest Baptist Church.  Gerald Wolfe of Greater Vision put this event in perspective when he called it 'This is your life'.
