The purpose of our Women’s Ministry is simply to do the will of our Heavenly Father by seeking to reach women of all life stages and lead them to become complete, committed, and capable followers of the Lord Jesus.  We are doing this by offering our women unique atmospheres for fellowship and encouraging relationships that do not always have time to develop during the responsibilities of work and regular church services. 

ACTIVITIES OFFERED ARE:

• Bible study at least two times a year which will help you grow in God’s Word
• Weight loss through “First Place”, a Christian program with Bible study
• Special interest classes such as scrap booking, cooking, smocking, etc.
• Support groups for dealing with trials of life, such as loss of husband or child.
• Special events such as conferences, our yearly “Celebrate Women” event with table scraping held each May or overnight retreats.
• Mentoring to give younger women the opportunity to hear and be encouraged by an older woman or by spiritual growth.

 THERE’S A PLACE FOR YOU TO SERVE OTHERS:

• Women’s outreach/evangelism to new and/or unchurched women in the community or non-members who have attended Hill Crest women’s functions.
• Hospital/Nursing Home ministry
• Home ministry
• Special events team
• Child care for women’s functions
• Drama ministry

Quilting Classes are held each Tuesday from 3-7 pm at the church.  Beginners and experienced quilters are welcome and they meet on the bottom floor of the Bobby Jones wing.
